LOVE IT

OMG! I love this game! this was an absloutly an amzing storyline and really fun to play. My only problem was I had never played any of the games before this one. But you don’t really need to it’s a great storyline on it’s own and they seem to get every point down so you don’t have to play the others! Once I found some awesome tricks of how to get around bad guys it was so much more fun to play the next time around. The game seems to work just fine with my computer and I have a blast every time. Cheers

Good Game Horrible Port

Good Game - The story is pretty stock, but works well enough. Gameplay is fun and satisfying, although regularly frustrating (name of the game for stealth play) In terms of art direction, looks fantastic, love the projected text effect and black and white for shadows. In terms of graphics, hasn’t aged real well, cutscenes and dialogue are frankly painful. Overall a nice action/stealth crossbreed with interesting art direction, albeit mediocre graphics. 3 1/2 - 4 stars. The Port - Let us count the bugs. Enemies are regularly invisible on first play of a mission (all you can see are floating flashlights) and by "first play” I mean the first time since you fired up the game. Cinematics are unskippable despite the "Skip (Enter)” prompt that pops up. Absolutely no gamepad support, seriously how hard would it have been to add support for keyboard re-mappers and let us map it ourselves? And my personal favorite: if your wireless mouse disconnects, you must quit the entire application and restart. Ever time. Ubisoft did one update for “bug fixes”, that’s it. I understand that Mac ports won’t generate a lot of revenue and the budget for them is probably limited at best, but other developers and studios have been able to put out some pretty fantastic versions of games on the Mac platform. 1/2 star

POS

mouse bounces all around - never got to play it at all.

long time splinter cell fan

it’s a great game, though the solo compaign is a bit short. if the game doesn’t run well on your mac, then it’s no one elses fault but your own. read the requirements first. it’s still a great game after all these years. now please bring Blacklist to the app store!
